Position summary
Description
Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor
Responsible for cleaning and servicing Officer and Staff cabins as per
established VOC standards.
Reports any maintenance deficiencies.

INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for the cleanliness of assigned Officer\Staff cabins; this includes
but is not limited to:
⢠Making beds
⢠Cleaning bathrooms & toilets
⢠Vacuuming
⢠Dusting
⢠Cleaning windows and mirrors
⢠Replenishing linens, towels and room amenities
⢠Garbage handling and separation
⢠Clean assigned corridors, trolleys and lockers
⢠Prepare cleaning trolleys daily with necessary item to be able to carry
duties
⢠Handle and distribute Guest luggage on embarkation days in the evening
before debarkation
⢠Responsible for reporting all deficiencies for repair and maintenance using
shipboard reporting
systems
⢠Work with various chemicals and cleaning tools
⢠Operate in line with all USPH and Safety guideline
⢠Maintain constant focus on the cleanliness of the corridors and surroundings,
⢠Assist in any other Housekeeping/Custodial area based on operational need
⢠Operate in line with all USPH, Environmental, Safety and Security Policy
⢠Perform other duties as assigned by Leader
⢠Luggage duties
Minimum
experience and qualification requirements for position:

Housekeeping
experience as Officer/Staff Steward
·
Ship
experience preferred
·
Excellent
English communication skill both spoken and written
·
Outgoing
personality
·
Able
to handle and use chemicals and cleaning tools
·
Physically
fit, with endurance to lift 50 lds and bending
·
Able
to work long hours walking and standing
Contract
length: 8
months on / 2 months off
Salary: 767$
