Description

Shore Excursions Staff is responsible for the promotion, selling and dispatching of shore excursions offered in the various ports of call as directed by the Shore Excursions Manager. Shore excursions Staff is to resolve any passenger problems Encountered and ensure fullest customer satisfaction. 

HIS/HER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

To play an active part in the Emergency Response Organization and to look for
continual improvement in all matters relating to safety of the guest, crew and vessel
Shorex Assistants have to be available at the Guest Services Desk to assist guests
with any matters they might have. These are not limited to the shore excursion
program. Basic duties of the Guest Services department to be provided.
Managing the sales and bookings of shore excursions
Dispatch of shore excursions and tenders
Assigning escorts for shore excursion to provide quality management
Handling of private guest excursions
Shorex complaint management
Coordination of all excursions including audio equipment
Providing deep knowledge of the ports of calls and excursions and assist
guests according to their needs and interest
Concierge duties such as booking restaurants, golf or other activities ashore
Perform any other tasks or duty as required or delegated by supervisors
Accompanies regularly shore excursion to ensure product and port knowledge
and to monitor quality of tours
Works closely with supervisors, colleagues and other departments in order to
achieve the highest possible passenger satisfaction

 


Minimum experience and qualification requirements for position:

·        Desirable: Min. 1 year professional experience in a sea-going position

·        Desirable: Firsthand knowledge of our ports of call / previous experience on an ocean ship

·        Excellent English skills, other languages are an asset

·        Service oriented and guest focused

·        Must work independently, good computer knowledge

·        Excellent management, organizational and communication skills

·        Positive personality and attitude, friendly and neat appearance

·        Stress resistance, flexibility, team player


Contract length: 6 months on/ 2 months off


Salary: 2215$
