Description
Photographer need to have the minimum requirements needed. As well as a strong photography background our primary focus will be on candidates with outgoing personalities that are very people oriented and can work well within a team environment.
PHOTOGRAPHER - MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Basic overall knowledge of photography
Proficiency in depth of field, focal length, aperture and shutter settings
Previous experience using DSLR cameras
Basic sales skills
Pleasant outgoing personality, projecting a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
Effective communication (in English) displaying strong interpersonal skills â engaging, persuasive, collaborative and credible
Proactive and professional at all times
Positive team player with the ability to interact with a multicultural team
Great attitude with a willingness to adapt and learn new skills
Ability to contribute positively to the guest experience
POTENTIAL CANDIDATE APPLICATIONS
All requested paperwork and information required from each candidate must be placed on our company dropbox location for us to review prior to the candidate being invited to interview. We have created dedicated space on www.dropbox.com for this purpose. If your agency does not already have a specific folder please follow the guidelines below:-
In order to set up an account and folder for you on our online storage space, you will need to do the following:
Open your own (FREE ACCOUNT) on www.dropbox.com , it is very simple just follow the set up steps on the website.
Once you create account please send info@employment-power.com a separate email with the name of your agency, city & country and we will create a specific folder for your agency and provide you with your upload link which will be used to exchange the files between your agency and Carnival.
Before informing us of potential applicants, the following FOUR items must be placed in a dedicated named folder for each applicant.
1- Curriculum vitae
Basic information on education & work experience and relevant photography projects. The CV must also contain the link to the candidates online portfolio (picture gallery)
2 - Online Portfolio
Candidates must have their own portfolio posted online as a picture gallery so that we can see and review their work. The link to this must be included in their CV
There are plenty of FREE photo sharing websites which can be used for this purpose such as : www.Flickr.com, www.photobucket.com, www.tinypic.com , etc. please recommend these to your candidates.
If the candidates have their own website with picture galleries, this would be also fine.
Please note that Facebook accounts will not be considered as valid picture gallery links.
3 - Video application
(2-3min long video of the candidate answering the questions listed below.
The video application should be very simple, recorded using just a cell phone, point and shoot camera or a computer web camera.
Video size should not be bigger than 640x480 and total file size and should not exceed more than 30MB. This video can be created by the candidate in the comfort of their home and then sent to you to be posted.
