Description
The primary responsibility of the Surveillance Supervisor is to protect the property, money and reputation of the Casino through covert physical and/or video surveillance and perform basic troubleshooting and repair of Surveillance equipment.
Through physical and video surveillance, observe the activities of guests and employees in all gaming and money handling areas as well as non-gaming areas
Report verbally and in writing any violations of the Iowa Racing and Gaming commission regulations to Surveillance Manager.
Report any safety considerations to the appropriate authority
Maintain the operation of the Surveillance equipment and reporting any deficiencies.
Using basic technical skills, replace hard drives while maintaining integrity of system.
Meet company attendance requirements.
Minimum experience and qualification requirements for position:
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge and experience with the following games â Blackjack, Craps, American Roulette, LIR, 3 Card Poker, Texas Hold âEm, UTH, Craps, and Baccarat. A basic knowledge of slot machines and operations is preferable
- Minimum of one year experience as a surveillance operator is required; or have a minimum of one year's experience within the surveillance field in connection with a hotel or casino environment, or equivalent. Casino staff with a minimum of 2 yearsâ experience in dealing may apply.
